About G H Hoyles

The Hoyles family have been farming in South Lincolnshire since the mid 1700’s and moved from Benington, Boston, to Lutton (Monmouth House Farm) and Newton (Newton Hall Farm & Ferry Farm) at the start of 1900.

John & George Hoyles, the sons of George Henry Hoyles (known as Henry, but where the business name comes from) were born at Monmouth House and were the third generation of Hoyles’ to farm this land.

David & James are now the 4th generation.

Farming sustainably with the environment is very important to us; looking after our soil, the wildlife and the environment. We have invested in reservoirs, storing excess winter water to use in the summer, helping the crops and wildlife in the warmer and dryer months. We have installed a wind turbine and have solar panels on our farm building roof’s, making us 70% self sufficient of our energy needs.
